Augie's Outing was founded in 2003 by Gloria Johnson.
Raised in Fairfax, Virginia, Gloria has had a life long interest
in dogs and they have played a major role in her life.
Gloria has over 12 years experience working with dogs as a
Kennel Technician, Veterinary Assistant and Professional
Dog Walker. Her passion and concern for dogs led her to
start Augie’s Outing as a business to provide help for owners
who are unable to give their dog(s) midday relief (which is
required for proper house breaking, socialization, and
exercise) due to long working hours. At the owners request
positive reinforcement training is incorporated into every
walk, and visit at no additional cost. Gloria will work with the
owner to ensure your dog is safe, happy, healthy, and well-
trained!

Residing in Fairfax, Gloria lives with her two children. She has an American Bulldog named “Noah” that she
rescued from the American Bulldog Rescue League, a Jack Russell Terrier that was rescued from a Virginia
puppy mill named “Nixie”, and a Spotted Saddle Horse named “Sunny”.
Gloria also helps dogs in need by volunteering at a local animal shelter.
